Queer AF is a fashion show and fundraising event that seeks to change how society views beauty and identity in fashion. We place a focus on inclusion and representation across intersectional identities for our designers, models, and performers.
We are focused on representation and celebration of identity.
A lot of media and entertainment brands decide “who is beautiful” and leave out marginalized groups including queer and trans people, people of color, people with disabilities, body diverse people, and more. Love Your Labels is working to change that. We believe that all people should be celebrated, and Queer AF is our annual show that features representation of what beauty truly is in the world — diverse, different, and dynamic.
We are inviting our community to share people and brands they should be part of Queer AF!
We’re looking for fashion designers, artists, and performers. For people interested in modeling, please fill out our Model Intereste Form (Link).
How to apply or nominate someone:
Record a 2m video (or less) that includes the following information and share a file through a link (Google Drive preferred) OR post it as an unlisted public video on YouTube:

Your Pronouns
Select three labels that describe you and say, “My labels are…” (please pause briefly between labels). If you are nominating someone else, you can choose to skip this step
Need help with your labels? We believe labels describe but shouldn’t define people. Unfortunately, parts of who we are have been used to marginalize and oppress us for generations — Love Your Labels is working to eliminate bias, stigma, and shame associated with labels, and we do that by supporting others in claiming words:
that have historically been used against you and others like you
that you’re proud of that “society” says you shouldn’t be, and/or
that you’re working to accept about yourself that “society” has made you insecure about
